Alumni Awards
H.R. Houston Community Leadership Award
Purpose: To recognize the efforts of an individual who serves the community through distinguished leadership.
Eligibility: Open to all Leadership Collierville Alumni.
Criteria: The award reflects positively on the Town of Collierville and the organization, focusing on a record of service and leadership demonstrated primarily within the Town. Consideration is given to whether the leadership goes beyond the call of duty or professional job requirements.
Selection: Recipients are chosen based on the quality of their impact rather than the number of nominations received.
Jeff Abeln Community Service Award
Purpose: To recognize a Leadership Collierville alumnus who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to community service and the “servant-leader” mindset in the past year.
Eligibility: Open to all graduates of the Adult Leadership Collierville program.
Criteria: The recipient is selected based on their selfless dedication to the Town of Collierville through volunteerism and altruism. While professional achievements are notable, this award specifically honors those whose volunteer efforts go “above and beyond” to improve the quality of life for all Collierville residents through recent service.
